In 2022, Duotone
will introduce a new high-end product range, in which they strive to design the
most progressive products with only the best materials. The products with the
D/LAB logo come from the Duotone Lab and are made with the most innovative
construction techniques and are ahead of their time. The Duotone Whip D/LAB 2022
is made in the Duotone Lab and designed to give you a highly
performance-oriented strapless freestyle experience.

What makes the
Duotone Whip D/LAB 2022 so special is the use of a ‘Reflex Memory Foam’ shock
absorber. As a result, the Whip D/LAB will always want to return to its original
shape, so that you will get a lot less dents under your feet. The combination of
the Memory Foam with the Innegra Shield means that the D/LAB boards still have
some technical advantages compared to the cork shock absorber from our SLS
range. First of all, the Memory Foam is lighter than cork, without affecting the
overall strength of the surfboard. In addition, the foam has a memory, if you
get a small dent in your board, the foam will push the dent out over time,
giving you a lighter board that looks like new for longer. The Duotone Whip
D/LAB also feels super responsive on the water thanks to its reduced weight and
remarkable damping effect that drastically reduces vibration from chop.

The Whip D/LAB is available in two sizes and has received a major makeover for
2022. It has more rocker, a slightly narrower nose outline, rounder rails and a
new “wide bump-squash” tail design. This makes the Whip faster and more agile
when transferring from rail-to-rail. The compact shape makes the Whip D/LAB the
ideal board for strapless freestyle pros and seasoned surfers. The Whip D/LAB
2022 is an extremely well-balanced board with excellent handling, but still
offers an explosive turn and a very snappy and playful character.
