Reedin Super Model 2022 V3 Kite
Super all-round kite designed by Kevin Langeree
The new Reedin Supermodel is out and ready to take your jumps to the next level! The Supermodel is of course Kevin Langeree’s favourite kite, who manages to reach unprecedented heights with it. Yet the kite is not only suitable for professionals, but also for Freeride kiters who are looking for a kite for all conditions. The Reedin Super model V3 feels like an extension of your body and offers you great control in all conditions. Because you always feel where it is in the wind window, you can focus on performing your tricks, jumps or looking for to the next wave! The Reedin Supermodel V3 steers very smoothly and builds power very consistently. This keeps the kite mega versatile and gives you the confidence to make super high jumps and float through the air for a long time. Whatever conditions come up and whatever your style, the Reedin Super Model v3 does it all!
The Reedin SuperModel V3 2022 has been perfected on a number of points to make it fly as good as possible. This year, Reedin has focused on the way it feels, turns and is predictable, whether the kiter is riding a twintip, surfboard or foil. Designer Damien Girardin points out that a key feature of the SuperModel is how it swings out of corners. This ensures that you can keep more flying speed in your kite to create more power. This means you can ride a smaller kite and have even more consistent pull during your turns while riding waves, finish your kiteloop with confidence, land your jumps more smoothly and steer your kite in marginal wind when underpowered on a foil.
To make the Reedin Supermodel even better, kite designer Damien Girardin spent hours on the water with the kite and asked for feedback from all riders. One aspect where he saw that the kite could be improved was the response to heavy loads during overpowered conditions or heavily loaded turns such as during a kiteloop. By further balancing the bridles, the entire range has become more consistent and all sizes continue to perform better in high winds. In addition, Reedin has made the struts of the Supermodel smaller, for a lighter weight and better flex in the kite to feel even more direct and playful. Reedin has also reinforced the leading edge seams, for an even better lifespan of the kite.
If you are looking for a super kite with very good performance in really all conditions, then the Reedin Supermodel is definitely a kite for you!
Features
Reedin Super E 2022 Kiteboard
Comfortable all-round freeride kiteboard from Reedin
The Reedin Super E is the somewhat more comfortable and all-round kiteboard from Reedin. Compared to the KevPro, the difference is the construction. Where the KevPro uses carbon stringers to make the kiteboard stiffer, these have been replaced by bamboo stringers in the Super E. This gives the Super E more flex and makes it more suitable for the less extreme kite surfer when you want to ride at an average speed.
Like the KevPro, the Super E 2022 has an outline just as Kevin Langeree wants it. In the bottom of the Reedin Super E kiteboard you will find a clear three double concave and a rail channel. These techniques provide an incredibly good grip with the water. The grip quickly gives you the confidence to ride fast and jump higher. Towards the tips, the Reedin Super E is thinner, which provides extra flex in the tips so that you can ride through choppy water with great comfort.
In short, do you want a super comfortable performance kiteboard with the same outline as Kevin Langeree’s pro model? Then go for the Reedin Super E 2022 kiteboard.
Reedin DreamStick X 2022 Bar
Reedin kitesurf bar with new single PU depower line
Reedin’s search didn’t stop with the DreamStick’s previous 2022 design. This year Reedin comes with another big upgrade of the DreamStick: the DreamStick X.
The biggest and also the most eye catching upgrade is the new single PU depower line that now runs through the DreamStick X bar. This PU depower line is called the Monobloc by Reedin. The PU Monoblock depower line consists of two compartments through which the flagging line and depower line run. The Monobloc is attached above the QR to the smooth auto-swivel part with ceramic balls, making your power lines super easy to twist apart after, for example, a kiteloop or backroll. Another update to the Reedin Dreamstick X bar is the new, even clearer, color indication for left and right.
Just like last year, the new DreamStick X 2022 bar has a super safe Quick Release. If you have used the Quick Release in an emergency situation, or simply to attach the chickenloop to a sliding rope, you can effortlessly click the chickenloop back into the Quick Release to continue your kitesurfing session. Also unchanged is the super thin diameter of the DreamStick. The Reedin Dream Stick X bar is only 21mm thick with an ergonomic grip for your fingers. Because the Dreamstick X is so light, this is one of the lightest kitesurf bars on the market. Thanks to the adjustable bar ends, you can easily adjust the DreamStick X from 43 cm to 49 cm. The depower of the Reedin Dreamstick X bar works through a clam cleat that is placed above the Monobloc.
The lines Reedin has used on the DreamStick X are super stiff pre-stretched Cousin MEL dyneema kitesurf lines. The line length of the lines consists of a total length of 24 meters with a separate two meter extension at the end (22 + 2 m). The pigtails at the ends of the lines are interchangeable, so you can also use the Reedin DreamStick X on other kites with a low split of the power lines.
The new Reedin DreamStick X has been thought out in every detail again and is a big upgrade compared to the previous Reedin DreamStick bar. Safe, light and super comfortable: Reedin DreamStick X kitesurf bar.
