The Slingshot Machine LW V2 2023 Kite is designed to deliver a lot of power in the lightest conditions, so you can jump high even during the light weather days and have a lot of hang time to unlock those board offs as quickly as possible. The Slingshot Machine V2 is very fast and direct for its size, flies effortlessly upwind and is easy to relaunch. The big difference between the Machine V2 and the Machine LW V2 are the struts. The Machine LW V2 is a 3 strut kite instead of the 5 struts we are used to from the powerful Machine V2. The Machine LW V2 is a hybrid Open-C canopy kite that brings hangtime and easy boosts. Thanks in part to the hybrid Open-C, this is a super user-friendly kite for every level of kite surfer!

For the Slingshot Machine LW V2, a new type of Dacron material has been used that is not only considerably lighter than the old Dacron, but also a lot stiffer. This new Dacron material ensures that the kite maintains its profile very well when the wind blows a bit harder. The fabric of the Machine LW V2 is made of Teijn 4X4 reinforced ripstop nylon which is one of the strongest, stiffest and most durable canopies on the market. In addition, the number of canopy panels used in the kite has been drastically reduced to reduce the weight of the kite for a more aerodynamic profile. The Slingshot Machine LW V2 2023 has a “Streamlined Pulley-less Bridle System” The bridles no longer have pulleys, making the kite feel a lot more direct. Slingshot uses extremely thin lines, making the rider feel much less drag. The kite has different attachment points, so that the power and handling of the kite can be fine-tuned and riders can fully adapt the kite to their riding style.
