Wow! That was our first reaction when we saw the new Slingshot Hover Glide Fkite 2020 Foil. And not only because the Hover Glide Fkite Foil looks really good. This is what you want when you start hydrofoiling. A foil that creates lift at low speed and rides stably, the Hover Glide Fkite 2020 has it!

That Slingshot developed this foil is no surprise. Slingshot has put the feedback from their own foil academy into this new Hover Glide kitesurf hydrofoil. The large surface of the wing ensures that you quickly get out of the water at low speed. The wide profile also gives a very stable riding style to the Hover Glide Fkite 2020 foil. Because of these characteristics, the FKite foil is very suitable for riding your first meters and making your first turns on a hydrofoil.

The wing is made of a new type of carbon composite material. The magical feeling of the wing, the so-called “Space Skate”, comes from the “batwing” like shape. Because of this shape the Hover Glide has a kind of stabilizing feeling, as if you are carving with a longboard over a freshly made asphalt road. The included 71 cm mast ensures that you don”t go too high above the water but can edge nicely. A protective cover for the wing is supplied with the Slingshot Hover Glide Fkite 2020 foil package.
