Because a full Penta TX construction made the Rebel SLS so stiff, and therefore difficult to steer, Duotone made the outer struts of Flex Strut material. This ensures that the kite can deform well and the Rebel SLS therefore has a surprisingly fast steering behavior for a five strut kite. The cloth is made of Trinity TX material. This canopy comes from Teijin and is supplied exclusively to Duotone. The fabric uses a 3X2 ripstop for the best possible combination of stretch and stiffness.
