Legendary all-round freeride big air kite from F-one

It is perhaps one of the most iconic kites on the market: the F-one Bandit. It has been an indispensable part of your favorite spot for years. The Bandit 2022 is already the 15th version that F-one releases of this kite. And this year too, F-one has not been sitting still and has made the Bandit’s performance even better. You will especially notice this in hang time, loops, steering speed and stability. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, the F-one Bandit 2022 is there for every kitesurfing level.

Besides the fact that the new 2022 design of the F-one Bandit XV looks sick again, there are no major changes at first glance. But the real F-one Bandit connoisseur will immediately see and feel the changes when flying the F-one Bandit 2022 XV kite. The most noticeable change to the 2022 Bandit is the trailing edge. It now consists of two parts. A super light 135gr dacron side towards the tips and a 50gr polyester part in the middle. The new trailing edge has the advantage that the Bandit 2022 is now more stable in the air and can rotate faster compared to the previous version of the Bandit.

The upgrade that has the most influence on the improved performance of the F-one Bandit 2022 XV kite is the thinner leading edge diameter. In addition, the thinner LE of the Bandit 2022 consists of 26 sections this year instead of 24 sections, giving the LE a more gradual arc shape. The improved LE gives a lot of extra performance to the Bandit 2022, such as: less air resistance (which makes the kite steer faster), less turbulence (so more stable) and a stiffer profile. The pulley with which the F-one Bandit 2022 works has also been updated, so that the depower runs more smoothly.

Of course, the F-one Bandit 2022 also remains loyal to its famous character: the user-friendly versatility of the kite. The Bandit 2022 has a very fine depower, which means that the sizes have a large wind range. The F-one Bandit is still super easy to restart from the water if you accidentally crashed it.

As in previous years, the F-one Bandit 2022 is made of strong double ripstop fabric from Teijin. The leading edge and struts consist of a very solid dacron construction. Vulnerable places on the F-one Bandit 2022 are also provided with extra reinforcements to guarantee a long lifespan of the F-one Bandit. At F-one they understand that you want to get out on the water quickly once the wind blows, that’s why the F-one Bandit 2022 has a super fast SUP one pump system.

All improvements make for the best F-one Bandit ever! The Bandit 2022 steers faster, so you can jump even higher and pull kiteloops more easily. For the more novice kite surfer, the improved stability is a mega upgrade.
